You have a chance to fight back against the agressors so it's not an exploit. It might be a foolish action or you could set up them up if you were actually cunning. Somehow I don't see that happening.
It's actually a trust scam. The issue of insurance is a moot point as you are talking about interferring with the price floor/ceiling system in the market. The OP should get a degree in economics prior to posting again.
I agree I don't have the features to be a holoreel star. Most people have missed the point that this is Mobsters Online and that carebears are at the bottom of the foodchain. |

Looking at the comments the posters appear to be very aware of this, and some have used similar tactics before.
I hope that your post has inspired others to profit from this.

So people seem to do this and are afraid to even join a corp. On top of that they earn lots of isk running lvl 4 missions and don't use the isk for anything. These people are subscribers only, they do not actually play eve as an MMO.
If people choose to trust people that they've never met and contact them under suspicious circumstances then they deserve what they get. The ability to remove or destroy assets is key to keeping the game economy working and if there is no outlet for a proportion of the assets in the game it will turn into WoW. WoW suffers ridiculous levels of inflation and is full of crap players which you aren't allowed to kill no matter how annoying they are.
Lets not turn eve into a cesspool.

I try not to tell people how they should play the game since they pay the same amount of $ as I do. Be it another play style or whatnot. I dont think anyone should judge other players for how they play the game. Only exception would be CCP if they are breaking the rules ofcourse.
I do however try my best to tell everyone on the forums what they need to be doing.
You do have a valid point and generally I don't tell people how to play eve. However, if they come onto C&P and moan about topics that have already been covered in other threads rather than contribute to the discussion I start getting annoyed.
If people want to play eve solo and are so paranoid that they never join a corp even though they would like help then they should look at themselves as the problem, rather than the people who want their faction loot from their pimped out mission pwn-mobile.
